What is a dynamic QR code?

A dynamic QR code points to an intermediate URL that redirects to the real destination. This lets you change that destination anytime without reprinting the code.

Can I edit my QR's destination after printing it?

Yes, that's the main advantage. From your dashboard you can change the destination (URL, WhatsApp, email, etc.) and the already-printed QR automatically points to the new destination.

Is the QR generator free?

Yes. You can create static QR codes for free without signing up, or create a free account and get 3 permanent dynamic QR codes with no credit card.

What types of QR codes can I create?

URL, WhatsApp (with a pre-written message), phone, email, text, location, WiFi and contact card (vCard). Static QR codes are available without an account; location, WiFi and contact require a free account.

Is there a scan limit on my dynamic QR codes?

Yes, each dynamic QR code includes a number of scans per month depending on your plan (100 on Free, 1000 on Pro, 10000 on Premium, and unlimited on Enterprise). If a QR hits its cap, it stops redirecting until the next month or until you upgrade. Static QR codes don't have this limit because they don't go through our servers.

Do I need an app to scan the QR codes?

No. The native camera on any modern iPhone or Android scans QR codes directly, without installing anything extra.

When should I use a static QR vs. a dynamic one?

A static QR is ideal for content that never changes (home WiFi, personal number). Dynamic is better for businesses: menus, promotions, cards, where the destination may change over time.
